Yin and Myofascial Release Workshop

These days, most of us are no strangers to physical tension, aches and pains. Overuse, underuse, posture, stress and injuries all contribute to knots and adhesions in our muscles and fascia (connective tissue). If you're looking to ease some of the pain without paying for an expensive massage, this is for you. 

In this workshop, we will combine myofascial release techniques with our already-relaxing yin practice. Learn various ways to use therapy balls to release trigger points (knots) in the muscles, then move deeper into the connective tissue through slow, deep stretches.

We will focus on areas of the body that tend to take the brunt of daily life (i.e. shoulders, back, glutes), as well as places we tend to forget about (i.e. feet, abdomen, calves).  Walk away with tools to reverse the effects of aging, undo the effects of desk work, and relax the mind from daily stressors.
