Getting sTARTED

  1. Embrace your body and breath: Yoga is for EVERYBODY.

  2. Flexibility is not a requirement; focus on connection, not contortion.

  3. Allow yourself to be a beginner and explore without self-criticism.

  4. Bring your own mat; props are available for borrow or purchase.

  5. Wear comfortable, movable clothing; no shoes or socks.

  6. Unplug and create sacred space.

  7. Remove shoes as a sign of respect for the practice.

  8. Practice regularly for greater benefits (2-3 times a week if possible).

  9. Stay hydrated and bring a small towel for sweat.

  10. Listen to your body, let go of expectations, and honor your needs.
