After-Birth Care Workshop: Essential Oils, Infant Massage & Core Stability

Saturday January 25th, 12:30 - 2:00 pm

$35 per person

90 minute workshop discussing ways to care of your body and baby postpartum.

Learn all about the safe and practical uses of Essential Oils for Pre/Postpartum Support from Amanda Snelson, a local mama to a six-month-old. You will learn how they can benefit you from pregnancy, labor, through postpartum, and even in baby care.

You will be guided through making a custom 10ml sleep support roller to take home and incorporate immediately into your life!

Infant massage is an ancient tradition of using nurturing touch as a way of lovingly communicating and bonding with your child. It fosters trust and and understanding, while also working towards improving and maintaining the health of your baby. These specialized techniques can be relaxing for your child, encouraging better sleep and calmness while also being able to stimulate them and effect positive behavioral reinforcements.
Infant massage is a lifelong skill that can help parents connect and communicate with their baby, giving them the best loving start in life while promoting health and happiness.

Core Stability isn't about having a tight tummy (although that is nice), it's about the quality of life raising a little human with little to no back, hip, and shoulder pain. You'll learn from Pre/Postnatal Yoga instructor Erin Floyd, who will give you techniques on reducing Diastasis recti (also known as abdominal separation) and strengthening your transverse abdominal muscles. Even if you are still pregnant, this information will be great for you to learn now and use after baby arrives.

Babies and partners are welcome, if you're pregnant, please bring a doll for infant massage.
